She's wonderfully talkative and enjoys carrying on little conversations with her favorite humans throughout the day. Meet Kraft. This brave little kitten has already endured more in her short life than most cats ever will. After being hit by a car, Kraft suffered a fractured tibia and severe tail injuries. Today she had surgery to amputate part of her tail and repair her broken leg with pins!

Despite everything she’s been through, Kraft remains a sweet, resilient little fighter. Her spirit hasn’t been broken, and neither has her determination.

We are so thankful for our vet partners, Dr. Daniel Anthony at Atlas Pet Vets for taking on this challenging case. After consulting with orthopedic colleagues, Dr. Anthony agreed the best approach with a plan to repair Kraft’s tibia with cross pins, perform a partial tail amputation, and allow her pelvic injuries to heal naturally. The biggest challenge is Kraft’s tiny size, but as Dr. Anthony said, “I will give it my best as always.” And he sure gave it his best! Kraft is doing amazing post surgery!

We’re incredibly grateful for Dr. Anthony’s skill, compassion, and dedication to giving Kraft the best possible chance at a happy, healthy future.
