Happy Valentine’s Day to my one and only! From all our travel adventures to being up late last night at the ER vet to make sure Penny would make it through the night, I think I speak for the girls and myself on how much we appreciate and love you!

As I reflect back on this week, I just want to say I’m truly grateful to Curtis and his team at BMW partnering with us for this gifting experience for the Southeastern Region.

Now that I’m back home in Dallas, it’s time to make a lot of hats to get shipped out across the southern US in the next few weeks! 🤠

Just a little from the factory this Saturday. These are some of the original BJ machines (brim jiggers) from the late 1800’s. Yes, you ready that number correctly!

Both sides had sandpaper and would sand down the fur on the brim on both sides evenly as the brim would rotate around. This was the early version of mass production in the fur felt hat production to be able to sand more brims the exact same over having to hand sand each one - one by one!

I might be late due to a hectic day, but this winner is someone who has been on every post and not just the giveaways. Always commenting, liking, and sharing and was one of the 3 people that shared every single day of this drawing on both accounts - and that was pretty cool to see!

As a small business, Google reviews mean the world to us! We don’t get nearly enough to display the quality of hats we make, so I’m just going to share the most recent one.

Gary needed a 100x Pecan Hat, which is something we don’t carry. He came to our factory in early December and requested it and paid for it up front knowing we don’t usually do things like these. I was able to get one from my best supplier and get this hat made prior his wedding a week ago.

Happy that we were be able to help and we’re always happy to get a review! Granted we still get negative reviews from some customers that will try to review us through a friend’s account because they thought our product was cheap and trash. I’ll share the actual review in a week or so, but the real reviews from actual customers are the ones that matter!

I added a QR code on this review so that anyone that has received a hat from us can leave a review if you feel inclined to do so. We would greatly appreciate it! We love getting to share these and I plan on sharing a lot more of them going forward! Transparency is the key to a successful business, no matter how big or small! 🤠

I think one of the most interesting things is just looking back on old pictures and comparing them to the present day. I have tons of copies of this exact same picture, but the last one I took was in 2019 and we had half of the production, half the employees, half the storage, and half the business!

Going into 2025, it’s all about planning the other pieces that we can put together to maximize our factory space, but optimize the storage/accessibility and output to create the hats as they are ordered.
