Crazy thing is… never planned on being a DJ. It just kinda happened.

His mom and my tías were looking for a DJ for his grandparents’ 50th anniversary, and one of them goes, “Just have Nate do it.” 😂 That was the first gig — small West Texas town, about 350 family members deep — and he’s been doing it ever since.

Today, he’s the owner and founder of DNA Event Services, but it all started with that one family party and a whole lot of hustle.

If we’re talking cumbias, you already know he’s spinning El Baile del Gorilla or Cumbia Sobre El Rio, all the classics. Energetic. Curated. Memorable. That’s the style. ⚡️

He’s DJ’d a lot of incredible events, but the moment that will always stay with him was when his daughter came to a gig for the first time. She helped him set up, run the lights, and stood right next to him the entire night. That one hit different.❤️

If he could give couples one piece of advice: be present.
Your guests follow your energy. If you’re on the dance floor, they’ll be right there with you. If you’re at the bar taking shots, they’ll follow you there too 😅 A DJ can hype the room, but you set the vibe.
