Let’s play guess the movie, opera-style! 🎭

Pianist Francois Germain and I planned a wonderful and FUN fundraising concert for Aria Bootcamp at the Shoreby Club in Cleveland, OH and one of our sets was “Guess the movie!”

There are so many iconic opera arias, intermezzos, and overtures across decades of film! Can you guess these?

I will give you a hint: they ALL won Oscars!

When the acoustics do all of the work for you, so you can just play!

Pianist, Francois Germain and I did a little fundraising event last weekend for Aria Bootcamp and we majorly LUCKED out when it came to the music we could make! We had a wonderful acoustic and audience at the Shoreby Club and an amazing Steinway piano donated by the Steinway Piano Gallery in Cleveland!

It really was an embarrassment of riches! And we were able to make some amazing, fun music together!

I love when that happens!

I am always learning.

This week I am learning how to sing in altitude! Last year, I learned how to run a non profit. Who knows what I will learn next.

One of the biggest lessons that I have learned in my career though is that we are all, always learning something. Embrace the fact that you will always be a work in progress.

And enjoy every second of it!
