BEFORE & AFTER: Cal Fire says that 75% of Pacific Palisades has been burned to the ground. These before and after photos show the rubble that is left of a once thriving city. Absolutely horrific images coming out of Southern California, in what I’m calling a historic urban fire event. CURRENT FIRE STATS: Palisades Fire: 17,234 acres 0% containment Eaton Fire: 10,600 acres 0% containment Hurst Fire: 855 acres 10% containment Lidia Fire: 348 acres 40% containment Sunset Fire: 43 acres 0% containment Local Connection: 64 Utah firefighters have been called to action and are now en route to California to help with the Los Angeles fires. Red flag warning for high fire danger in place through Friday afternoon! ***I used ”globe view” on Google Earth to get the “before” image of the city and the “after” image was taken by Kit Karzen.
