We are deeply grateful to those who came before us and to those who continue to serve our communities and our nation. Because of their commitment, we enjoy the freedom to learn, create, teach, perform and share the universal language of music.

Today, we celebrate not only our nation's history, but also the enduring spirit of expression, education and community that makes America unique. Through music and music education, we are proud to help tell our country's story and inspire future generations.
