The Positions You Avoid May Be Limiting Your Life

Most people think mobility is about being flexible.

It’s not.

Mobility is about having access to positions that allow you to fully participate in life.

Can you comfortably:

👉 Get down on the floor and back up?
👉 Kneel to play with your kids or grandkids?
👉 Squat to pick something up?
👉 Rotate and reach without restriction?
👉 Move confidently in tight spaces?

The problem isn’t that these positions are “bad.”

The problem is we’ve stopped getting into them.

When the body loses access to certain positions:
• Mobility decreases
• Strength in those positions disappears
• Confidence drops
• Life becomes more limited

# # # The Goal

Train your body to be comfortable in positions that challenge it.

Not because you’ll live there...

But because you’ll have the option when life asks for it.

The more movement options you have:

✅ The more adaptable you become
✅ The more resilient you become
✅ The more activities you can enjoy without limitation

Freedom of movement creates freedom in life.

The positions you can access today often determine the activities you can enjoy tomorrow.

UNLOCKED Move — Movement, Performance & Recovery Are Interchangeable

Most people separate:
👉 Movement
👉 Performance
👉 Recovery

But the body doesn’t.

They constantly feed into each other.

# # # Movement Affects Performance

If your body can’t:
• Rotate well
• Shift force efficiently
• Maintain alignment

…performance suffers.

You compensate.
You lose efficiency.
You break down faster.

# # Recovery Affects Movement

When recovery is poor:
• Mobility decreases
• Muscles tighten
• The nervous system stays “on”
• Movement options disappear

Now the body starts moving differently.

-—
Performance Affects Recovery

The harder you push:
👉 The more recovery matters

If the system can’t adapt to stress:
• Fatigue accumulates
• Inflammation increases
• Performance plateaus

You can’t isolate one piece.

Real human performance comes from:
✅ Intentional movement
✅ Strategic recovery
✅ Efficient force transfer
✅ Nervous system adaptability

---

T—Goal

Create a body that can:
• Move efficiently
• Recover effectively
• Perform consistently

Because movement, performance, and recovery are all part of the same system.

Train the system together… and the body adapts better.

That’s UNLOCKED Move.

Hip Mobility Starts with Pelvic Alignment

Most people think hip mobility is just about stretching the hips.

But if the pelvis is out of position…
the hips can’t move the way they’re designed to.

The pelvis is the foundation for:
👉 Hip rotation
👉 Weight shifting
👉 Force transfer
👉 Joint positioning

If that foundation is rotated, elevated, or compressed…

• One hip gets overloaded
• Mobility decreases
• Muscles tighten to create stability
• Compensation patterns develop

# # # True Hip Mobility Requires:

✅ Pelvic alignment
✅ Rib cage positioning
✅ Proper breathing mechanics
✅ Controlled movement through all 3 planes

Because mobility isn’t just flexibility.

It’s the ability to:
👉 Move with control
👉 Accept force
👉 Create stability while moving

# # The Goal

Not just “looser hips.”

The goal is:
• Better alignment
• Better rotation
• Better movement efficiency
• Better performance

When the pelvis is positioned correctly, the hips finally have space to move.

That’s where real mobility starts.

Some Days You Don’t Need More… You Need to Chill (Intentionally)

Not every day is meant to push.

Some days your body doesn’t need:
• More training
• More stimulation
• More output

It needs a reset.

That’s where I like using PSIO vibroacoustics.

What It Does

PSIO combines sound, light, and vibration to help shift your nervous system.

👉 It’s not passive—it’s intentional recovery.

Why I Use It

On days when the system feels “on”…

• Mind racing
• Body tight
• Hard to fully relax

This helps bring everything back down.

Benefits I’ve Noticed

✅ Nervous system downregulation
✅ Improved relaxation + mental clarity
✅ Better recovery between sessions
✅ Helps transition into a parasympathetic state

The Shift

We’re always chasing:
👉 More performance
👉 More output
👉 More intensity

But if you never come back down…
you limit how well you can actually perform.

Recovery isn’t just physical—it’s neurological.

Some days…

You just need to chill—on purpose.
