From runway rehabilitation projects to highway construction, Shannon has spent his summer gaining hands-on experience and seeing how civil engineering comes to life in the field.

As a civil engineering student at the University of Arkansas, he has enjoyed watching projects progress from start to finish while discovering the many opportunities the industry has to offer.

One of his biggest takeaways? Great projects aren’t just built—they’re managed. Through his experience at Iconic, Shannon has developed a growing interest in project management and the leadership required to bring projects across the finish line.
