A *Severe T-Storm Watch* was issued for EASTERN AND SOUTHERN NORTH TEXAS. The main threats will be hail up to the size of TENNIS BALLS, damaging winds up to 70 MPH, and an isolated tornado will be possible.

🚨MODERATE RISK EXPANDS INTO NORTH TEXAS🚨

All of North & Central Texas should remain extremely vigilant this afternoon and evening as widespread severe thunderstorms are expected to develop with damaging winds, tornadoes, and large hail all possible.

The best chance for these storms in North Texas will be from 12-10pm. West of I-35w has the best chance through 7pm.

MAIN THREATS: Damaging Winds 60-85+ MPH, Large to Very Large Hail (1-3.5” Diameter)
SECONDARY THREAT: Few Tornadoes (Isolated strong tornado possible)

Not everyone will see severe weather to be clear, but we have a higher chance than usual to see some severe storms. HAVE MULTIPLE WAYS to receive alerts today.
