Not exalting the gifted
prevents quarreling.

Have you ever found yourself suddenly becoming angry or offended by something someone said ?
I’m sure everyone has at one time or another
But ......
Most people just react and blame the other person for what they think that person did or said wrong .......
instead of asking themselves “WHY DID THAT AFFECT ME LIKE THIS ?”
When I started trying to
understand myself and
WHY I DO THE THINGS I DO .......
I started realizing that no one has any control over my emotions but me ........
unless I Believe something they are saying and feel I must defend or protect my point of view !
Now if I start defending or arguing I realized I wasn’t trying to prove my point to them ....... I was feeling threatened in my Own emotions that
“MAYBE I WAS WRONG and NEEDED TO PROVE I WAS RIGHT !”
( to myself)
WOW !
Now that was another
“AH HA MOMENT!”
I realized that if I absolutely positively believed in what I stood for and for who I am ....
I didn’t have to answer to anything anyone said .......
Because their opinion wasn’t important......
and their opinion of me wasn’t important.......
because I know what my morals are
and
God is my judge !
I know that as long as I live my life doing everything from a place of love
and
stand by my beliefs of what is the right thing .......
there is nothing anyone can say about me that will make me angry or feel I must defend !
I don’t need anyone to agree with me for me to know what is right and what is wrong .....
And I will not give anyone the power to control my emotions and Happiness!

This tree is still standing after the sand beneath was washed out....why?
Because it’s roots are so deep.
It reminds me of what our relationship with Jesus should be like.
When the storms washes up against us .....
we will still stand because we are firmly planted.
Reminds me of the song we sang in church ......
“ I shall not be I shall not be moved .... just like the tree that’s planted be the water .... I shall not be moved !”
My roots are planted in God’s words of
WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG !
NO ONE has the power to instill HATE
into my spirit
and
TAKE OVER MY MIND AND MY WILL !
My Prayer is that people will listen to God and not the horrible words that are coming at us from every direction to take us away from the Truth and Love and Compassion of each other !
Dear God help us to keep growing our roots deep in Your Word, Your Truth, and Your Love.
More than ever our Nation needs to remember we are ......
ONE NATION
INDIVISIBLE
WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL !
WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER.....
NOT FOR ONE PERSON .....
BUT FOR EACH OTHER !
WE MUST LEAN ON GOD FOR OUR UNDERSTANDING!
God is Good Always !
