πŸŒ³πŸ’š Big gratitude to Amazon and Dallas ISD for helping our Cool Schools Program grow! With 71 new trees planted on the grounds of Dr. Frederick Douglass Todd Sr. Middle School, students are already feeling the difference.

These trees will bring cooler temperatures, cleaner air, and greener spaces for learning, playing, and just being kids.

And the best part? Some students helped plant these trees across their campus, which is a great way to connect them to nature. This is what happens when partners invest in the future of Dallas students. Here’s to more shade, more smiles, and more green in our schools.

52 new trees are now growing at the Dallas College Richland Campus! 🌳
In collaboration with Dallas College and CBRE, we planted 52 trees around the walking trail and tennis courts β€” creating cooler, greener spaces for students, faculty, and neighbors to enjoy.
Trees don’t just improve the environment β€” they also enhance learning. Shaded, natural areas reduce stress, boost focus and concentration, and create a more peaceful atmosphere for studying and outdoor activities. These trees will make the campus not only more comfortable but also more inspiring for education, wellness, and connection.
A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to plant these trees β€” your effort is helping grow a greener, healthier, and smarter campus! πŸ’šπŸŒ±
