When education and policy work together, students thrive.
This October 13–19, 2025, will give Texas students the chance to apply to public colleges and universities without application fees through ApplyTexas.
This initiative—made possible by Senate Bill 2231—reflects our shared commitment to helping every student graduate with more than a diploma and pursue a path that leads to a good living and purposeful career.

“When educators, employers, nonprofits, and government pull in the same direction, we create a powerful network of opportunity.” – Lynn McBee
That spirit was on display at the Educate Texas "Education to Career" showcase, held at Communities Foundation of Texas.
Together with students, educators, business leaders, and community partners, we highlighted how Early College High Schools and P-TECH programs deliver more than diplomas, equipping students with credentials, work-based learning, and the confidence to lead.
As Zaire, a student in Lancaster’s robotics pathway, shared: “I’m building skills that don’t just help me in class, but help me solve problems and support others.”
Educate Texas is proud to help scale these education-to-career pathways statewide, ensuring more students graduate ready for both college and high-demand careers.
