Hey everyone,

I'm excited (and a bit nervous) to share something deeply personal that I've been working on. It's called "Letters to Trent," a series of essays I've started writing to my son, Trent. The idea came to me in one of those quiet moments of reflection, where the past and present seem to meet, and you can't help but think about the 'what ifs' and 'if only's.'

Over the years, I've collected a fair share of life lessons – some learned through joy, others through challenges. And there's this part of me that wishes I could go back in time and share all of this with Trent much earlier, to maybe ease his path a bit or just to let him know that whatever comes, he's not alone in it.

But since time machines are in short supply, the next best thing would be to write these essays. They're a mix of advice, reflections, and a few dad jokes thrown in for good measure (because, why not?). More than anything, they're a way for me to pass on what I've learned in the hope that it might help Trent, and maybe even others, navigate this complex, beautiful thing called life.

I'll post these essays on Social Media, starting with an introduction outlining my hopes and intentions for this project.

This is not just about sharing my journey or the lessons I've picked up along the way. It's about planting seeds of wisdom and understanding to help a boy become a great man.

To all the parents out there, to anyone who's ever wished they could share a bit more of themselves with the ones they love, and to those who are just curious about the journey – I invite you to join me. Let's explore together the lessons we wish we'd known and the messages we hope to pass on.

Stay tuned for the first letter, and thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
