HB 5374 has been signed into law, making Connecticut the next state to support insurance coverage for scalp cooling from January 2027.

Expanding access to scalp cooling continues across the U.S, helping ensure more patients can access this important form of support during treatment. We want to say thank you to the advocates who helped make this happen.

Momentum for bills mandating insurance coverage for scalp cooling in the US is growing, with two new bills already passed this year in West Virginia and Maryland, effective January 2027.
