2025 Recap: A year of real growth—career wins, family moments, and steady progress toward the life we’re building.
Ending the year in our first home together in Oak Cliff. 🥹
I love living in Bishop Arts. Even my commute feels like a blessing — passing the Dallas skyline in the morning and at night always reminds me how lucky I am to call this city home.
My kids are doing amazing, my granddaughter is the sweetest little genius, and all three of my babies are growing into their own talents. My man is thriving, and with him I’ve gained a whole new family — step-kids, in-laws, cousins — and we even took our first combined family vacation to the Guadalupe River this summer.
I’m grateful for my friends, too. My circle is solid, supportive, and full of love.
Work has been empowering, I’ve grown a lot this year, and I’m hoping to step into a new role soon. Zo Bear is happy and social, my brothers are thriving, and our blended families have created the kind of joy and connection I grew up with.
Life feels aligned. Dallas feels like home. And I’m thankful for all of it.
And yes, I have loved myself into a "Turkey Trot" Family.

Let’s talk facts: Jesus is giving major vampire energy.
• “Drink my blood” – Communion is basically a blood ritual.
• Died, rose from the dead – Classic undead behavior.
• Immortal – Still alive 2,000+ years later.
• Hangs out at night, avoids the heat – Just sayin’.
• Performs supernatural acts, has a loyal following, and lives off devotion – Hello, cult leader with a flair for the dramatic.
But the part that seals it?
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in…” – Revelation 3:20
He literally needs permission to enter. That’s Vampire 101.
So yeah…
Let Jesus into your heart. Invite him in.

To get all of us together wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
These women amazing, ambitious, educated, respected in their field, and romantic partners I look to for advice because they have a healthy, realistic love story with good men.
We may not talk often but I am grateful I have them to talk to. ❤️
