How to make a culinary herb garland.
1. I used a florists metal base and used rosemary as my base layer. I cut quite a lot and tied it round the circular metal base in bundles.
2. I then gathered and tied the other smaller bundles of herbs together and then tied them to the rosemary layer. I concentrated on ones that I used a lot in the kitchen, mints, thymes and sages and then added a few strands of curry plant, this is not edible but dries well and is pretty.
3.Tied all the bundles in place and made a loop for the back of the wire hoop.
4. Put it up in the kitchen to dry. The herbs smell wonderful but they dry too and in the winter I just take a pinch off the garland and put it in the dish. I make a few and they make great gifts.
