I see this mistake on flyers every single week.

The text is so small you need a magnifying glass just to find the date and time. And if your audience has to work that hard to read it β€” they won’t show up.

Your flyer has one job. Communicate fast. Especially on a phone screen where everything is already smaller.

Rule of thumb: if you have to squint to read it, it’s too small. Make the important information bigger. Date, time, location β€” those need to be the first things people see.

Not the last.

Save this and check your current designs before you post another flyer. πŸ‘‡

Nothing ruins a clean flyer faster than mismatched image quality.

One washed out, blurry, low-resolution photo beside crisp HD photos makes the entire design feel unfinished.

And yes…
people notice it immediately.

Especially on flyers where multiple speakers or guests are featured.

Quick rule:
Your photos should feel like they belong in the SAME world.

βœ” Similar lighting
βœ” Similar sharpness
βœ” Similar editing style
βœ” Similar resolution

If one image is bad enough…
it can pull down the whole flyer.

And if you need a good photographer...check the comments!

These are some of my favorite beginner-friendly tools for finding colors that actually work together πŸ‘πŸ½

And remember:

Just because colors are IN the photo doesn’t mean you should use ALL of them 😭

Start with:

βœ” one dominant color

βœ” one supporting color

βœ” one accent color

That balance makes a HUGE difference.

πŸ‘‡ Comment COLORS and I’ll send you my free K-Designs Color Palette Tool to help you:

βœ” pull colors from photos
βœ” generate balanced palettes
βœ” see a live flyer mockup
βœ” get copyable hex codes
βœ” use the 60-30-10 rule easier 🎨
