🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day, America! 🇺🇸
Today, as the United States celebrates 250 years of independence, I join millions around the world in giving thanks to Almighty God for this great nation.
Twenty years ago, God opened a door for me to come to America. That opportunity changed the course of my life and gave me a platform to serve others, especially in my beloved homeland of Liberia. For that, I will always be deeply grateful to God and to the American people.
Jesus reminds us in Luke 12:48: "To whom much is given, much will be required."
America has been blessed with extraordinary freedom, opportunity, and generosity. Through the compassion and partnership of its people, countless lives—including thousands here in Liberia—have been transformed. We have truly been blessed to be a blessing.
On behalf of Change Agent Network (CAN), thank you to every church, family, organization, volunteer, and friend who has prayed, partnered, and invested in our mission over the years. Your kindness continues to bring hope, expand educational opportunities, and change lives.
As we celebrate this historic milestone, may God continue to bless the United States with wisdom, peace, unity, and renewed purpose.
Happy 250th Independence Day! 🇺🇸
May God bless America, and may God bless each of you.

“From Serving Individual Liberians to Giving Back to an Entire Nation — Oh! It’s Just God!”
On Wednesday, May 20, 2025, in my hometown of Fissibu, Zorzor District, Lofa County, Northern Liberia, marked a truly historic, emotional, and humbling moment in the history of our work in Liberia. By the grace of God, Change Agent Network (CAN) / Opportunity Network Liberia (ONL) officially entered into a landmark turnover and strategic partnership agreement with the Liberian Government through the Lofa County University (LCU), helping pave the way for greater access to higher education, community development, and long-term national transformation in Liberia. The Change Agent Network University (CAN University) has been turned over to the Liberian Government and is now serving as Lofa County University Annex 1 for generations to come.
It is amazing and deeply humbling to witness what God can do when ordinary people simply say “yes” to Him.
Years ago, this vision started with a burden to help underserved children and young people in Liberia through education, hope, opportunity, faith, and empowerment. Today, by the grace of God and through the sacrifices of so many wonderful people around the world, we have gone from helping individual Liberians to now giving back to the entire country of Liberia through sustainable educational partnership and national development.
Oh! It’s just God!
What began as a simple vision has now grown into:
Change Agent Network University (CAN-U)
CAN Leadership Academy Lofa (CAN-LOFA)
Educational initiatives impacting communities across Liberia
And now a transformational partnership with Lofa County University for the future of higher education in rural Liberia
This milestone belongs to:
The people of Liberia
The citizens and leadership of Fissebu Town
Our students and staff
Churches and volunteers
Friends and supporters around the world
Government officials and partners
And every single person who believed in this vision when there was almost nothing on the ground
We are especially grateful to God Almighty for His faithfulness throughout this entire journey. There were many difficult seasons, impossible moments, sacrifices, setbacks, and times we did not know how things would work out — but God remained faithful every single step of the way.
As we move forward, our prayer remains the same:
To continue breaking the cycle of poverty in Liberia through education, faith, leadership development, youth empowerment, and economic freedom for generations to come.
This is not the end of the vision — it is the beginning of a greater national impact.
May this generation of Liberians rise to build a nation greater than the one we inherited.

Good morning from Liberia, West Africa.
Warm greetings from the resilient people of Liberia, especially our underserved children and young people. I pray that you are all doing well by the grace of God.
The weekend of April 24, 2026, I had the opportunity to visit my hometown, and birthplace, Fissibu Town, Lofa County, again. I am pleased to share a powerful update with you. The zincing of the administrative building at the Change Agent Network University (CAN-U) campus is progressing very well and is now nearing completion.
This milestone is a true testament to what can be accomplished when people come together with a shared vision. I want to thank our dedicated staff, students, community members, local leaders, government officials, partners, friends, and supporters for making this dream a reality.
We are especially grateful for the support and partnership of His Excellency, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, whose commitment continues to strengthen our mission of making education available, accessible, and affordable for all Liberians.
What we are witnessing today is not just the construction of a building, but the building of hope, opportunity, and a brighter future for generations to come.
Together, we are thinking Liberia, loving Liberia, and building Liberia all to the glory of God!
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” – Psalm 127:1
Thanks a million, folks, take care and remain blessed!
