It is with a very heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Mercer Asay with our interior design community.  Mercer passed peacefully on Sunday, May 10, surrounded by family and friends.

Mercer was a staple at Rutherford’s, working with the family for over thirty years to build the business we all know and love today. His dry sense of humor, relentless support, keen math skills, eye for design, and heartwarming smile will be remembered by clients and colleagues alike.
