1:50pm - Loud thunderstorms with heavy rain and lightning continue across southeast Texas! A brief severe storm or two are possible this afternoon.
Small hail/gusty winds can’t be ruled out.

TEXAS: tonight looks like it could be a loud night, from central to north and eventually southeast Texas and the Gulf Coast. Strong to severe storms, with damaging wind potential, active lightning, and some heavy rain.

The greatest severe potential remains in south Texas, but should continue to diminish slowly after sundown. A few impulses could occur overnight that prompt more warnings, but the overall trend will be weakening. Heavy rain, however, could continue to be an issue.

We don’t sleep much anymore. But at least we get out? Kind of?
