Today was "Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day" and I took the crew here at Gail Bean Design on a field trip to visit 3 local quilt shops -- KiwiQuilts in Powder Springs, Stitch'N Quilt in Mableton, and Red Hen Fabrics in Marietta. It was fun to watch the crew's faces light up as they recognize our client's patterns, books, and tools on the wall and fabric from many of the companies we deal with. A special thanks to the ladies at Stitch'N Quilt who took the time to show us all their quilts, the craftsmanship that went into them, and answer everyone's questions. These ladies were so much fun!
