IT Solutions Architect
Full time, direct hire
100% Remote (can be based in AZ, CO, FL, GA, Chicagoland counties in IL, IN, IA, LA, MD, MI, MN, NC, OH, TN, TX, UT or WI ONLY)

Our client, a midwestern hospital system, is looking for an IT Solutions Architect. In this role, you’ll utilize your senior level expertise as a solutions architect/engineer to work with users, reviewing their business needs and cases; analyzing their needs against available technology and propose solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in AWS or Azure; healthcare industry experience is a plus.

Duties will include:

Documentation, maintenance and enhancement of IT functional applications and product architecture

Ensures IT architecture scalable to the needs of the health system, meeting the needs of the internal client (users)

Delivers enterprise architecture roadmaps, ensuring a reusable component model library

Defines architecture/high-level structure; maps requirements to system/application components

Ensures functionality of applications and integration points

Proactively researches and resolves issues via enhancement of current components or solutions that could be implemented.

Experience required:

5+ years of IT Solutions Engineer/Architecture experience; (EA3, TOGAF, Zachman or other certification preferred)

Experience with AWS or Azure cloud solutions (certification is a plus)

Demonstrated experience developing models based on TOGAF framework, including model relationships, graphical representations, and abstractions

Experience with creating/maintaining architectural data repository views

Experience working with user to C level internal clients including session facilitation, requirements gathering, analysis, review of solutions/tradeoffs, design, and implementation
