Position purpose
Process credentialing and re-credentialing and associated tasks of providers and facilities in accordance with our company policies, standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Responsible for obtaining and verifying all required and pertinent credentialing and recredentialing documentation.
Maintain and monitor all licenses and certifications in the database to ensure compliance within all markets.
Coordination of provider enrollment activities (including initial enrollments or re-credentialing) for all Centers, employed physicians, and nurse practitioners.
Ensure all facility and practitioner licenses and certifications are accurate and in good standing at all times.
Complete all forms and supporting documents required to obtain hospital privileges for physicians, as necessary.
Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
Provide administrative assistance
Other duties as assigned
Performance Requirements:
Strong presentation skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work with physicians and non-physician providers in a fast-paced environment
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft applications)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Self-motivated with initiative; willingness to learn and adopt new strategies
Strong sense of ethics.
