"Parable of the Wicked Vine Growers" (12:1-12).

I hope many of you had a chance to watch our pod-cast last Friday night on "Should a Believer be a Christian Zionist?" I believe it's an important topic for those of us who have a burden and love for the Jewish people and Israel. This week we are going to resume our teaching series in the book of Mark. In our current section we are looking at the Messiah's teaching in Jerusalem during the final week of His ministry before His crucifixion. Our message this Friday will be Jesus' teaching on the "Parable of the wicked vine growers" (12:1-12). This parable is a clear cut warning to the religious leaders who were "seeking how to destroy Him" (11:18). It is a vivid portrayal of how Israel has persecuted God's messengers and prophets throughout their history and how that Israel's present leaders, who were confronting Jesus were following in the footsteps of their wicked ancestors. This parable will lead us into some additional scripture and history that I believe will be both informative and interesting. So come join us this Friday evening for Shabbat services at Adat Shalom and study the word of God with us. Services will begin at 7:30 P.M. We will have wonderful worship, a Torah devotional, our message in Mark, and warm food and fellowship at the close of our service. So come join us for a special time with the family of God.

Water Outreach on the Walking Trail, THIS Sat, Jun 27th, 9-11am - We will be handing out bottles of cool water and dog treats, along with the Good News of the Gospel to those walking along the walking path behind the church. Sign up to join us. Other outreach dates: Jul 25 and Aug 22. We are asking for bottled water donations and the use of a cooler.

Adat Shalom 4th of July Celebration/PotLuck and Sing-A-Long – Saturday, July 4th, 5pm. We will gather for an old fashioned "indoor" picnic (potluck) for a great time of food and fellowship and singing of your favorite patriotic songs. Adat Shalom will provide Beef Hot Dogs, Water and Coffee, we are asking YOU to bring the sides and dessert.
Please - Sign up to let us know you are coming and what dish you are bringing. (Things like potato salad, pasta salad, coleslaw, baked beans (no pork), green salads, fruits or other vegetables, and desserts, of course). Just a reminder that items need to be in their own dishes and and prepared and ready to eat.
***If you are unable to bring a dish, you are still welcome to come, but we still need you to sign up so that we know how much food to get. Thanks!
