Potential Tropical Cyclone Five is sitting about 1000 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. There is now an 80% chance of tropical cyclone development in the next 48 hours.

An above-normal hurricane season is on the horizon for Texas West Texas could end up seeing additional rainfall this summer and fall due to tropical storms.

After conducting a damage survey, it was found that two short-lived, but damaging tornadoes went through parts of Sanderson. The first moved down a ridge and into a neighborhood before continuing to the east for a few minutes and dissipating. The second developed a couple minutes later along the south edge of town.
