Today, we proudly mark five years of LF Bioenergy—a milestone that reflects vision, disciplined ex*****on, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to advancing agriculture’s role in America’s energy future.

What began as a bold vision has become a leading platform transforming dairy waste into renewable natural gas, creating long-term value for farmers and rural communities, and helping shape the future of our energy system.

This achievement is a testament to the leadership of our co-founders, Lee Laviolette, CEO, and Cyn French, EVP of Corporate Affairs, whose shared vision and unwavering commitment have helped position LF Bioenergy as a trusted partner in building practical, scalable sustainability solutions.

LF Bioenergy (LF) was pleased to participate in the 2026 hashtag Summit, which convened stakeholders from across the network of renewable energy leaders, policymakers, regulators, market operators, utilities, and innovators for substantive discussions on the energy industry’s most pressing priorities.

David Schummer, LF’s Operations Engineer and a New York resident, shared: “It was insightful to attend the Summit. In a sense, it was also reaffirming that across every renewable energy industry and job role we all face the same issues: affordability, reliability, and the need to move forward past adversity. I value the opportunity to have participated.”

Cyn French, a LF Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs, participated as a panelist emphasizing to New York leaders that policy certainty is a critical force multiplier. Her key points included:
· Policy certainty unlocks private capital and accelerates deployment.
· A New York Clean Fuel Standard (CFS) can be performance-based, transparent, and market-driven—providing a state-led framework grounded in verifiable data and public trust.
· Renewable natural gas (RNG) can deliver measurable methane reductions through monitoring, data, and verification.
· A well-designed CFS can create pathways for New York developers, investors, and farmers—while protecting consumers through appropriate safeguards.
· Scaling over the next five years aligns with NY’s dairy farmers, the renewable energy industry, rural economic growth and the state’s climate and energy goals.
