- Last night I made chicken dish, and I need everyone to understand that I am not being dramatic here… this was one of the top three chicken dishes I have ever eaten in my life.

Possibly top two.

Possibly number one.

Possibly I need a private moment alone with this chicken.

I sat there taking bites and doing that thing where you stop chewing and just stare off into space because your brain is trying to process what just happened. Meanwhile the boys (my two dogs) were sitting nearby staring at me like tiny attorneys preparing a legal case for why they deserved half of it.

I’m also pretty sure this may be the best thing that has ever come out of my kitchen, which is saying a lot because I have an ego and a Dutch oven.

Creamy mushrooms, thyme, tender chicken, and one of those sauces where you immediately start looking around for bread, or a spoon, or a straw... because wasting even one drop feels morally wrong.
