Today in our Boise studio, I had one of those pinch me moments, surrounded by fresh flowers, hands deep in petals, and just fully present in the joy flowers bring.

Y’all know I’ve been in this industry for decades, and I still get giddy playing with flowers. The color, the smell, the texture, the magic of watching them open, I’ll never get tired of the feelings it brings. Ever!

There’s something so simple yet powerful about flowers. They make us pause. They bring beauty into ordinary moments. And they remind me daily why I fell in love with this work in the first place.

Grateful for this moment. Grateful for these blooms. Grateful for the magic.

Remember anything can bloom when you’re surrounded by fresh flowers!

Lead with heart ❤️

Almost 30 years ago, when I started FiftyFlowers, there was no blueprint. No map. Just a big dream, a ton of heart, and a belief that flowers could change lives.

Leading with heart meant taking risks I couldn’t fully calculate. It meant staying curious in the face of uncertainty. It meant building with people who believed in the vision, even when it wasn’t clear how it would all work out.

This image? It’s not just a pretty graphic. It’s a real-time guide to how I try to lead, with courage over comfort, with truth at the center, and with a deep belief that growth takes time.

Whether you’re building a business, leading a team, raising a family, or rebuilding yourself… this kind of leadership is for all of us.

And when you lead this way?

Anything can bloom.

Since 2019, I’ve been keeping quiet notes on what each year has taught me. Now, as we look to 2026, I’m reflecting on just how far I’ve come and what it’s taken to grow through it all.

2019 taught me nothing is forever.
2020 reminded me the world can halt in an instant.
2021 was a battle, with unknowns, pivots, and resilience on repeat.
2022 brought grief and grit in equal measure.
2023 tested my roots.
2024 cracked me open.
2025 taught me to grow differently.
And 2026, I bloom with intention.

This is more than a recap. It’s a reminder: growth is rarely pretty, but it is always purposeful.

Every challenge has shaped me. Every pivot has prepared me. And every season has helped me deepen my purpose.

Here’s to entering the new year grounded, clear, and committed, to meaningful growth, real leadership, and doing business with heart.
Because when you lead with intention,
Anything can bloom.
