Trauma responses can become normalized in our daily lives. Especially for those who grew up in environments marked by domestic violence, which can trigger these responses.

At FASTell Girl Model2Mentor Program, our BET System is designed to support girls at risk of domestic violence, particularly those who have experienced two or more Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) between the ages of 0-17. Research indicates that children who encounter four or more ACEs are 1200 times more likely to attempt su***de.

Consider the number of women who, having endured two or more ACEs as children, are now either living in domestic violence situations or are in the process of healing from such experiences.
