Track 3: Lift The Veil
I remember writing this song so vividly.
Another conversation where I left feeling like I didn’t even get a chance to say how I was doing.
And I was kinda relieved.
This song is about how it feels much easier to listen rather than being the one who opens up. At least for me.
It’s about how… and I think we all feel the way to some degree… we deeply want to feel seen, but we also completely fear it. It’s scary.
Putting out this song feels scary.
But when I look back on this time, I want to remember feeling brave.
This song is about late night conversations, inner monologues, and the questions we ask ourselves when we’re alone.
At the end of the day, that’s only what I think it’s about.
I hope you find something in it that is uniquely yours.
I can’t wait to hear what that is. ❤️

Track 1: Funny
I went back-and-forth for a while on whether or not I wanted to include this song, a previous previously released single, on the EP. Part of me wanted to let these new songs stand alone, almost like a stamp in time of the special experience of recording it.
But after bothering my family and friends over the span of months, asking for their top EP fantasy draft picks, we landed on these songs.
So, the EP is going to have 5 songs.
And fuuuunnny enough, these songs span over the last 5 years of my life.
I didn’t plan it that way… it just kinda happened.
I quickly realized that this song kicked off a new era for me.
And now I get a chance to share these photos from that shoot with .
She’s been such a beautiful collaborator from the start.
This song broke my streak of breakup songs.
It was a palette cleanser for me… a deep breath.
It continues to be.
And I hope it has been in the past and will continue to be that for you too.
