MMS 7th graders competed in the Middle School Matchup this weekend going 2-1 in the tournament.

McMillen Sophmores with another win, beating Marcus 27-0
The MHS Lions sophomore football team battled the coldest temperatures of the season Wednesday night as they headed into Flower Mound Marcus High School Stadium to face off against the Marauders. The Lions had an outstanding performance from quarterback Chris Martinez ( #1) who threw for three touchdown passes on the night with his first to Wilfredo Montes ( #80) and then two to Major Murdoch ( #21). Running back Dozie Igwe ( #24) added to the scoring with a 50+ yard touchdown run in the 2nd quarter. Lions Defense had a strong night and was able to keep Marcus out of the end zone, posting their 4th shutout of the season. This win gives the Lions a record of 7-1 headed into their final match up next week against Williams High School for the Lions Homecoming game.
