Zaynn Arora
Zaynn has been drumming for the past two months, and his passion is infectious! He’s proving that with determination, anything is possible, as the saying goes, “Where there is a will, there is a way.” We got Zaynn a drum set, but it didn’t include a crash cymbal, so he cleverly made one using one of his hi-hats.
He’s been practicing in our tiny house, so when he wanted me to record his creations, he made sure we both wore our noise-cancelling headphones, that was the sweetest.
Zaynn always loved performing Jackson 5 songs, especially “Rockin’ Robin,” because he had a soft spot for birds. From the age of seven at , he would bravely perform with such joy, connecting with the audience even though he knew his vocals still needed work.
I believe his training at , especially with his coach , really kicked off his journey into musical theater. Without that platform, Zaynn wouldn’t have gone on a National Tour of Peter Pan The Hit Broadway Musical or the Broadway show Waiting For Godot.
He would sing Jackson 5 songs with such passion wherever he went, and “Rockin’ Robin” especially made him feel free, as he mentioned when he first performed.
Now older and with more experience, he decided to sing “I Want You Back” by Jackson 5 on his piano, adding his own humorous twist to the song.
Thank you for giving musicians the chance to face the professional world.
Thank you for coming back into his life while we were in NY and reigniting his love for singing. I think it was around the time we met you that he started leaning towards musical instruments more than singing. You pulled him back to singing, rediscovering his love for it.
Thank you for working with him while we were on tour with Peter Pan. Your support was endless, and you helped him tremendously with musical theater singing and performances. Our journey with you for over a year was nothing short of a dream.
As we continue our journey with gratitude, we will always remember each and every one of you who have taught us so much in one way or another.
Finally, thanks to the universe and the Jackson family for making the world a better place through music and arts.
Zaynn checking on weather for next day before going to bed and he walks in as a happy go lucky friendly uncle. Who is not just happy but very friendly and thinks Alexa is his friend.
It was fun to watch him in full character mode mimicking this Indian uncle. Never a dull moment with his sense of humor.
