The Colony Health Room

November is Diabetes awareness month. This year we had a student newly diagnosed with diabetes, however, it was originally missed by her pediatrician and paramedics. Knowing the symptoms and good communication with healthcare providers can make a difference.

This school year will definitely have some challenges, hopefully we will all feel supported by each other and our communities. We will need it, especially the small acts of kindness, sometimes they are actually the biggest and best things.

Years ago some of our students decorated our health room curtains with a school spirit theme for a classroom project. They still look great in our remodeled health room!
