Much to our regret, our attempts to save young puppies have put our rescue in a very difficult financial situation.

I have written many times before that we are carrying enormous debt. We do not owe anyone money, and all bills are paid on time, but a staggering amount of debt has accumulated on our credit cards due to our constant efforts to save sick and needy puppies.

Today I want to tell you about two puppies from the same litter.

The first is Whiskey.

Whiskey is now six months old meduim size dog. He eats, plays, runs, sleeps, and lives the full life of a happy puppy. If you saw him from the outside, you would never think he has serious health problems.

But his bloodwork has not improved even once during all this time. He continues to suffer from anemia and many other low blood values. We have repeated tests over and over, tried different medications, and given him everything we could, but there have been no results.

At this point, Whiskey does not require expensive treatment. He needs good food, care, love, and a home—for however much time he may have.

Or perhaps a miracle will happen. Maybe his body will grow stronger and his numbers will begin to improve. Miracles do happen sometimes.

We are looking for someone who does not care how much time this little boy has. Someone who is willing to accept Whiskey exactly as he is, love him, and give him a happy life.

His sister has been a little more fortunate.

She was born with nystagmus—an involuntary movement of the eyes. If you look closely, you can see her pupils moving. It used to be much more pronounced and noticeable. Her condition has improved, but it will never disappear completely.

She was born this way, and she will always be this way.

But she is an absolutely wonderful girl. Kind, affectionate, beautiful, and very loving toward people. She also dreams of finding a family that will accept her exactly as she is.

Please help us find homes for them.

Almost any northern state.

We truly hope there are people who can see beyond their diagnoses and recognize the living souls who deserve love.

We can no longer afford to keep supporting them in rescue for years. And honestly, life in a rescue can never replace a real home.

Please share this post.

Maybe your share will help Whiskey or his sister finally find their family.
