✊ Justice, Mercy & Redemption — Let’s lift up the call to pardon Huey C. White

Friends, I want to share something deeply important. There’s a petition on Change.org asking Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders to grant a pardon to Huey Carnell White, who has been imprisoned for decades under a sentence that many believe was unjust. 

Here’s what’s at stake: Huey was convicted of capital murder, but he was never separately convicted of robbery — the very felony that was used to justify the capital charge.  After a renewed review of his case, his attorneys found serious questions about how the conviction was handled. 

His brother, Pastor Terry L. White, and a growing community of advocates have come together to urge for clemency — a pardon with time served — so Huey can finally have a shot at redemption.
