A great week of writing (and running) with this amazing team of women! (Well, no one wanted to run with me, hence the selfies, but that’s 100% okay bc it was tortuous at times 💀 so I get it)

We quite literally experienced all four seasons over a 7 day time span 🤣. But in all seriousness, every time we have a writing summit, I am so humbled and honored. We’re on our way to writing a study on every book of the Bible! Many years ahead, but we’re making incredible progress. I’m so excited to see what God does with all these studies. In the meantime, I’m confident He was glorified through our time together.

1 & 2 Peter? ✅

Back in December, I injured my hip. This kept me from most forms of exercise for nearly three months. It was a big setback after making a lot of fitness progress in 2025.

But, we rested, did our stretches, and started getting back after it. I got cleared just about two weeks before this race. 💪I trained as diligently and safely as I could leading up to this race.

Race day arrives and the conditions couldn’t be worse. ☔️⛈️🥶Rain delays, lightning, icy temperatures!!! (And that’s Texas weather for you!)

While I didn’t make my goal time at this race, I’m so grateful to get outside and run (even if it’s freezing and my socks are wet!!)

I’ll be back with another race in May and I can’t wait! 😜
