How is the market??
I get asked this question every day and my answer is: it is moving!
Days on Market are up across the DFW Metroplex, months if inventory supply is at the highest it's been since 2003, and the average home is selling for 95% of the price it is currently listed for.
However, I'm also seeing multiple offers on homes, and homes selling much faster than the average days on the market.
So what does that mean for you as a seller? Price and presentation matter more than ever! This is not the market to test a price or hope for the best. It's the market to look at the data (my favorite thing) and feel confident in your price. Your price either sells your home, or it helps to sell your neighbors' home.
You don't get to set the list price and neither do I, because the market tells us what the price should be. And I don't want to put a sign in your yard unless there is a "sold" rider in there as soon as possible!
