Today, a concerning incident involving an autonomous delivery drone was observed at a public playground.
While families and children were actively using the park, a delivery drone descended near the playground area and lowered a package onto the ground in close proximity to children and personal belongings. According to the witness, the package appeared to be unintentionally delivered to the wrong location, creating uncertainty about its contents and raising questions regarding operational safety protocols in public recreational spaces.
