Dealing with post pandemic work quality, our client needed a solution, not just a quick fix. The grout level was nonexistent here, causing standing water and maintenance issues. You can see the poor condition of the existing grout, cracked and chipped away. We started by removing the almost nonexisting grout while grinding out a deeper channel for a better purchase for the new grout. Once everything was removed and leveled out, we cleaned up the channels and started mixing our grout and filling the lines. Three lbs later we compacted as much grout as possible into the channels, cleaned up the surface and let it cure for several days. Once hardened we went to work on cleaning and sealing the walls. The floors followed, and we used a restorative grout sealer for the floors that hardens and protects the color and integrity of the grout.
