Dosage: Start with 30g of our specialty first-grade Ethiopian beans, ground to medium coarseness.

Water Ratio: Pour 500ml of filtered water into the kettle, a 1:16 coffee ratio.

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1️⃣: Begin by preheating your Chemex and rinsing the filter with hot water to eliminate any papery taste.

Step 2️⃣: Discard the rinse water, add the freshly ground coffee to the filter, and gently shake to level the bed.

Step 3️⃣: ☕️ Bloom the coffee! Start your timer and pour 60ml of water over the grounds, ensuring all the coffee is saturated. Allow it to bloom for 45 seconds.

Step 4️⃣: After the bloom, pour the remaining water in a slow and controlled manner, aiming for even saturation. Spiral outwards, then back in, keeping the water level consistent.

Step 5️⃣: Once you reach 500ml, let the coffee drawdown finish. The entire process should take about 3.5 minutes.

Step 6️⃣: Carefully remove the filter and give the Chemex a gentle swirl to mix the flavors.
