Each year, St. Luke presents This Is My Story, a signature series highlighting the faith journeys of leaders whose lives are making an impact. And this month, we are bringing it home for Men’s Month.

This Sunday, we’ll hear from one of our own — W. Kelvin Walker, CEO of Dallas Citizens Council and longtime St. Luke member.

Kelvin leads one of Dallas’ most respected civic organizations, guiding policy conversations that help move our city forward. Before stepping into this role, he spent more than 20 years in private equity and investment banking, executing billions in transactions and leading at the highest levels of business. His board service spans major corporations and nonprofits, including leadership with the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association and other key institutions shaping our region.

He holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in Finance from Morehouse College.

But beyond the boardroom, Kelvin is a familiar presence right here at St. Luke. He is an active member of our Men’s Ministry, and his voice has been a consistent part of both the Men’s Choir and The Voices of St. Luke Mass Choir.

This Sunday is about his faith, his journey, and the story behind the leadership.
