Sneak peak into a perfect Saturday afternoon for me:
Lunch out at my favorite diner with Richard. We had a bit of a drive but it was well worth it.
And then catching some downtown estate sales, yea!! I hadn't been furniture hunting in quite some time. Of course part of Richard agreeing to go, was my promise of not actually buying anything but rather looking and just enjoyed the atmosphere. Aha!
Now while I keep my promise, I did quietly set aside a few pieces I will keep my eye on with the managers help, lol!
I must say nothing makes me happier on a summer afternoon than meandering through antique, vintage and MCM treasures in a big air-conditioned warehouse.
Hope your day was equally enjoyable ❤️

Happy Memorial Day, everyone!
I honor my dad and his generation. Especially, those who served and died while in service. My father was a career officer in the army for most of my childhood. Serving tours all over the world. Nine years in Germany, then Korea, Viet Nam and finally coming home as a recruiter in New York.
I never fully understood his great sacrifice. I heard the stories and collected the souvenirs he sent through the mail. When I was little, I just thought he looked like a movie star in his uniform every morning when he went to his military offices stateside.
Thank you dad. I've been told I look just like him as I get older and that's an added plus I love to acknowledge, lol!!
Happy Memorial Day. ❤️
