Mountain View Lady Bears Raysor 10U

This week…. This tournament….. This post…. It’s just hits different. This is it! Our last official MV Lady Bears 10U post. So proud of this group of girls! These ladies left it all on the field! They never gave up on themselves or each other! To witness it was nothing short of amazing! As a first year 10U team we focused fundamentals, mental toughness, and learning from our mistakes. We played some tough tournaments this season and you could visibly see the growth in these young ladies. Even dabbled in two PGF tournaments and had a solid showing.

The final chapter ends in PCB. We went 3-2-1 against ALL 2011 teams, even going into ITB, winning 9-4 in a game that lasted 3.5 hours with two lightening delays. To say I’m proud of these ladies is an understatement. Thank you parents and coaches for allowing me to play a small part in the lives of these ladies! You are providing them a solid foundation and now everything else is just layered on top!

Signing off one last time and looking forward to continuing the book as we join the Tennessee Mojo Fastpitch. I am excited for the opportunity to continue to learn, grow and develop as athletes mentally, physically, and spiritually!

Great day 1 of bracket play!! The girl displayed excellent defense, giving up a total of 4 runs in 2 games, dominate pitching and hot bats.

The day ended with an gift exchange with a great team, Capital City Crush (KY). Thank you for the cool gifts!!

Overall, we finished 1-1 for the day. I cannot say how proud I am of these young girls battling with the older teams.
