Tasmanian Blackwood is a premium tonewood closely related to Hawaiian koa. It produces a rich, balanced sound that combines warmth, projection, and musical complexity. While it's more commonly associated with acoustic guitars, it also makes an excellent material for drum shells.

‘Cook’ features a 14x4.75x 0.375” thick Bolivian Rosewood stave shell with 45 degree rounded edges, Inde strainer, and a high-gloss poly finish. It’s a sensitive and articulate snare with nice projection. Crisp!
