When life throws obstacles onto your path, a risen King and Savior reminds us of the temporary nature of such things and the permanence of an eternal promise.
As for me and my house, we will serve Lord.
Happy Easter to all.
Tiny Tim, for the love of Christmas, somebody grab this incredible laid back pup.

FCSO”s own. Rob Muth. Retired Florida Police Sergeant, FCSO Court Security and most recently a selfless volunteer to all of FOCO. Rob gave his life like he lived it, in service to others and keeping others safe. He and his wife, also a former police officer raised an incredible and loving family. It was our privilege to know him and count him in our FCSO family.
His blood family can use all the prayers available. They are a special family I had the privilege to spend time with.
Rob Muth, helluva police officer, and an even better man, father and husband.
I’m so proud of our FCSO deputies and our volunteers who did everything humanly possible and even more so as to how they are embracing this hurting family.
Details will be announced as the family has time to grieve privately.
It is with a very heavy heart that the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office announces the passing of a beloved former employee and active volunteer Mr. Robert Muth.
Last night, Rob was assisting with traffic control for the City of Cu***ng’s Christmas parade when he was struck by a vehicle. Immediately, other volunteers and deputies began life saving measures, and he was transported to North Fulton Hospital. This morning, surrounded by family members, Rob passed away from his injuries. Because Rob was one of our own, the Cu***ng Police Department is investigating the crash.
Rob selflessly provided countless volunteer hours in service to the Sheriff’s Office and the community he lived in. He was a retired Sergeant from the Boca Raton, Florida Police Department, having honorably served 21 years in law enforcement.
Following his retirement, Mr. Muth continued his commitment to public service as a Sheriff’s Office Bluecoat security officer assigned to the Judicial Operations Division from January 2022 until April 2024. He then became a volunteer for FCSO, assisting the Citizens Helping in Policing or CHIP’s Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, and by faithfully supporting agency operations through the interoffice communications needs. His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to serve wherever needed exemplified the very best of our volunteer program.
Please keep Mr. Muth, his family, friends, and our 150 plus FCSO Volunteer and C.E.R.T. (Citizens Emergency Response Team) members in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Mr. Muth’s legacy of service and dedication to this agency and our community will not be forgotten.
