Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk

Delaney Hardware is recruiting for a full-time Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist to join our team in Cu***ng, GA. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM. A full benefits package, including Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K are available.

The position is responsible for, but not limited to:

Accounts Receivable:
• Invoicing customers and posting payments to customer accounts
• Setting up new customers in the database
• Run credit checks
• Soft collections on past due invoices
• Apply Credits / Return Authorizations
• Prepare bank deposits
• Reconcile bank statements

Accounts Payable:
• Codes invoices to proper job or general ledger account.
• Processes invoices and expense reports into the computer system.
• Generates accounts payable checks.
• Researches vendor statements and resolve payment issues.
• Scans invoices into the appropriate payables mailbox for processing.
• Prints month-end reports (example: AP Aging, Posted Payment) for review.
• Matches POs to invoices.
• Processes “hand checks” as needed and record in computer system.
• Route invoices to the appropriate manager for approval.
• Recognizes discrepancies, takes initiative to resolve, & informs supervisor.
• Processes information to file 1099 forms for IRS.
• Work with Bill.com on payments.

Skills & Education:
Ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of AR experience. Degree preferred, but not required. In addition, the following skills are highly encouraged:
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel
• Ability to be highly detail oriented
• Team Player
• Effective Communicator
• Reliable
• Experience with Net Suites and MS Dynamics/Great Plains is preferred, but not a requirement.
