“Angel Confirmation” Art Story:
Due to Covid were no art shows or classes for almost 3 years, and I was discouraged. So, I asked the Lord to guide my journey as an inspirational artist & within 48 hours, 3 separate requests came to paint 3 unique commissioned art pieces! This was not a coincidence and I was overwhelmed, but really glad for this spectacular opportunity. In spite of the challenging 12 abstract, Old Testament scenes in the 1st one, I completed it by the birthday gift deadline. The 2nd was equally hard, & included my grand-girl with her other grandma’s white horse. Thank goodness the likeness was appreciated!

Then, a special friend told to me that she experienced a supernatural encounter while at her grandparents’ farm. Sitting outside reminiscing over memories through the years, she prayed earnestly about an important life decision and believed firmly in God’s promises. When my friend looked up, she saw a swirling cloud forming. It took her breath away seeing an angelic image, and knew her prayer would be answered! Fortunately, she captured some images & a video before the massive cloud formation quickly faded away! Later, she showed me the pictures of this incredible scene & asked me to paint it as a reminder of God’s provision, which did become a reality! I saw the setting sun encircled with an aura & an appearance of an angel, with two massive feather-clouded wings, arched way up in the sky! It became my 3rd commissioned artwork and a blessing for both of us!

Although the reference photo was in portrait format, I created it as a landscape thought it wouldn’t be too difficult, but I was mistaken! After working on it for one week, I got a bad case of Covid, that turned into a year of health issues, followed by a necessary home renovation. When I finally resumed painting, constant urgent concerns interrupted my progress & then way too many bizarre art difficulties occurred. It seemed the Devil had a scheme to prevent me from capturing this significant event. Accepting my inability to re-create God’s glory (on my own), I asked the Lord to help me - laying my hands & arms on the canvas, before painting. Over 80 hours & 2 years later, it is finished! Since the appearance of an “Angel Confirmation” of my friend’s prayer, that’s what we named the artwork. This promise from Exodus 23:20, aptly illustrates its message: “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.” I hope this dynamic artwork story encourages all to trust in and ask the Lord for His help continuously, receive His blessings & praise His name in gratitude! *(Please note these pictures of this artwork are not professional giclees & can't be reproduced for profit.)
