Start by eating 1 clean meal a day. That's it.
God designed us to primarily eat real foods so we can have energy and the ability to tackle life's demands.
If you aren't doing this consistently (80% or more) then you need to be focusing on this daily rather than trying to overhaul your diet.
This meal should have be 1/2 the plate of produce (fruits/veggies), 1/4 of protein, and the last 1/4 mix between starch and fat. You could always add a little extra protein to feel more satiated.
Yes, this is a general prescription but will have a great impact on how you feel regardless of your goals.
