There is a chapter in the book, Own Your Everyday by Jordan Lee Dooley, That address is perfectionism.

I really have never felt like I struggled with perfectionism, but a common topic going along with this is finding your purpose.

Now that!!

Yep, That I struggle with daily. Deeply. Constantly. Obsessively.

Actually, I feel like I have been in a season with God where I'm just completely missing something.

I try so hard everyday to be a good mom, be a good wife, make a difference for our family, find time to love myself, and fill in all the gaps between.

I truly feel like I'm trying everything I can. But, I still feel like I fall short of my purpose.

I should be doing more to progress the Kingdom.

I should be doing more to show love to those around me.

No matter what I try, I just feel like I'm not quite reaching what it is that I'm supposed to be doing.
What if my purpose is right in front of me? What if what I'm supposed to be doing is just showing light to Nora and to Lou and to you?

Yeah, I'm starting to learn that our purpose does not have to be extravagant. It just has to be loving. And it has to show up everyday.
