Then-Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Ugvwiyuhi (Principal Chief) Richard G. Sneed, WCU Chancellor Dr. Kelli R. Brown, and Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. sign a Memorandum of Agreement regarding the revitalization and preservation of the Cherokee language.
